In collaboration between the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Psychology Department at European University of Lefke and the Cyprus Turkish Green Crescent Association, an "Addiction" panel was organized.
As part of the event, Clinical Psychologist Hatice Ünsaç and Specialist Psychologist Merih Göçmen from the Cyprus Turkish Green Crescent Association delivered presentations. Following Clinical Psychologist Hatice Ünsaç's presentation on addiction, its types, causes, negative effects, and possible treatments, Specialist Psychologist Merih Göçmen delivered a presentation on alcohol addiction. The speakers also provided information about the Green Crescent Crescent Counseling Center (YEDAM), which offers free services on addiction prevention.
