Dagestan is a republic located in the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation, along the western coast of the Caspian Sea. It is known for its ethnic and cultural diversity, mountainous landscape, and rich historical heritage.
Central and Eastern Europe is a region of the European continent characterized by rich historical heritage, cultural diversity, and a strategic position linking Western Europe with Eurasia. The region has played an important role in shaping European history and continues to contribute to political, economic, and social developments in Europe.
Dagestan Green Crescent Association is a non-profit organization based in Dagestan, with its headquarters located at Gagarina Street 42, Derbent City, Dagestan. Engagement with the organization was established in 2018 through a reference from Georgia, and a Goodwill Agreement was signed in 2020. The association completed its official establishment in 2019 and has been a member of IFGC since the same year. It was elected as a member of the IFGC Board of Directors in 2025.The President of the organization is Shagabitdin Kerimov. Dagestan Green Crescent focuses on prevention, awareness, and community-based activities addressing addiction related to drugs, alcohol, and similar forms of addiction, contributing to public health and social well-being in the region.
