The Green Crescent Association in Jordan is a non-governmental organization dedicated to preventing addiction, particularly substance abuse such as drugs and alcohol. Established to raise awareness and support individuals and families, the association actively participates in international capacity-building programs and global events. Since 2019, its representatives have taken part in several international initiatives, including the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) event in Vienna and training programs organized by the International Federation of Green Crescent. Under the leadership of Mousa Mousa Abdallah Abdel-Rahman, the association has organized webinars such as “Before It Is Too Late,” “Your Life Matters,” and “Resist Drugs,” targeting youth, students, and families. It also conducts awareness campaigns, including public outreach activities on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Through these efforts, the association aims to strengthen prevention, promote healthy lifestyles, and combat addiction as a major social and public health issue.
