Lebanon is a small country located on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the Middle East. It is known for its rich history, cultural diversity, and ancient civilizations, including the Phoenicians. The capital city is Beirut, which has long been a center of trade, education, and culture in the region. Lebanon has a diverse society with multiple religious and cultural communities, and its economy traditionally relies on services, banking, tourism, and trade.
The Middle East is a region located primarily in Western Asia, recognized by the United Nations and other international organizations for its strategic geographic position, rich historical and cultural heritage, and significant influence on global political, economic, and energy systems.
Stardom Association (Al Najm) is a civil society organization based in Tripoli, Lebanon, with its headquarters located at Ajam Street, Adnan El Jisr Building, 2nd Floor, Tripoli. The association signed a Goodwill Agreement in 2014 and completed its official establishment in 2017, becoming a member of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World, and the IFGC in the same year. In 2025, it was elected as an alternate member of the IFGC Board of Directors. The association is chaired by Abdul Hamid Al-Hassan. Stardom Association focuses on activities related to the prevention of drug, alcohol, and substance addiction, as well as awareness-raising, education, and community-based initiatives aimed at promoting a healthy and addiction-free society.
