North Africa is a region located in the northern part of the African continent, commonly defined by the United Nations as including countries along the Mediterranean coast, and is known for its historical civilizations, cultural links with the Middle East, and strategic importance in regional and international affairs.
Moroccan Green Crescent is a non-profit organization based in Morocco, with its headquarters located at 235, Boulevard Yacoub Al Mansour, Residence Al Anfal, Building B9, No. 6, Casablanca, Morocco. A Goodwill Agreement was signed in 2017, and the organization completed its official establishment in 2018. Moroccan Green Crescent has been a member of IFGC since 2018 and was elected as an alternate member of the IFGC Supervisory Board in 2025. The President of the organization is Dr. Asmaa Debbagh. The organization focuses on prevention, awareness, and community-based activities addressing addiction related to drugs, alcohol, and similar forms of addiction, contributing to public health and social well-being in Morocco.
