Dr. Ahmad Fairuz PhD was born in Malaysia's Johor province. He works as an occupational physician. He received a doctorate in medicine from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a postgraduate master's degree in public health from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He holds a PhD from Management & Science University in the field of biomedicine in the public health (occupational safety and health) discipline (MSU). He holds medical licenses in Malaysia (M-02557) and Brunei (M-02557) (MMC 45824). He is a licensed occupational health doctor registered with DOSH, Malaysia, and his OHD number is HQ/14/DOC/00/354. He is a certified AOEMM (Medical Review Officer) for drug and alcohol testing. He received his education and certification as an basic aviation medicine medical officer from the Royal Malaysian Airforce. He serves as the appointed medical examiner for Brunei Shell Petroleum and Petronas Brunei (AME). He enlisted with DOSH as an ETP after receiving extensive ergonomic training. He has received NIOSH and HRD Corp. approval as an accredited trainer (TTT).
Throughout his career, he concentrated on occupational safety and health and public health. He has delivered speeches, published papers, and published books at several regional and international publishers. He received invitations to speak, instruct, and participate on panels for regional and global conferences, seminars, trainings, and gatherings. He has a wealth of expertise working with many business sectors to provide training and public health services. He is involved with Green Crescent Malaysia and is a vocal opponent of addiction. He works tirelessly as a volunteer for both national and local organizations.
