Since its founding in 2016 by the Turkish Green Crescent Society, the International Federation of Green Crescent (IFGC) has brought together 97 Green Crescents from across the world, united by a shared mission to build healthier communities. Today, we’re thrilled to mark our 8th anniversary as we continue to grow our global collaboration for a brighter future. As we enter another year, we renew our dedication to tackling addiction. With more than a century of experience to guide us, we remain focused on protecting public health, addressing addiction, and raising awareness worldwide. Thanks to its expertise and experience, the International Federation of Green Crescent (IFGC) assists Country Green Crescents in developing comprehensive project proposals, identifying funding opportunities and establishing partnerships with relevant stakeholders. International Financial Support Program (IFSP)

The International Financial Support Program (IFSP) is a grant program established by the Turkish Green Crescent Society to provide funding for projects and scientific research in the field of addiction prevention. The program aims to strengthen collaboration in preventive efforts on a global scale through data collection, research and project development.

IFSP grant opportunities are announced throughout the year by the Turkish Green Crescent Society. Applications are evaluated by expert reviewers and support is provided to Country Green Crescents that qualify for grants. The IFGC facilitates coordination between Country Green Crescents and the Turkish Green Crescent Society and provides supervisory support to Country Green Crescents during the project period when needed.
