The Volunteer Management Model and University Youth Green Crescent Club Management webinar took place online on December 3, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Gmt +3). The event was jointly organized by the International Federation of Green Crescent and the Volunteer Management Department of the Turkish Green Crescent Society.
In preparation for International Volunteer Day on December 5, the webinar offered a comprehensive introduction to the Turkish Green Crescent Society’s volunteer management model. It emphasized key volunteer objectives, shared activity statistics, and highlighted practical examples. Additionally, the session addressed the setup and management of Youth Green Crescent clubs across Turkey, explored factors contributing to their achievements, and discussed approaches to enhance youth participation.
The webinar supported the International Federation of Green Crescent’s commitment to advancing public health and encouraging voluntary initiatives in this area. It emphasized the importance of fostering volunteerism and building a sustainable volunteer culture at both individual and community levels within Country Green Crescents.
